Users particularly appreciate the option to utilize a swing-out rotor with or without a windshield, enhancing its adaptability for various applications.
Additionally, the DL-5M is equipped with a rapid and precisely adjustable refrigeration system, offering a temperature range spanning from -20°C to +40°C. Notably, its Rapid Temp quick cooling function stands out, enabling the centrifuge chamber and accessories to be efficiently pre-cooled to a specific temperature, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.

The centrifuge is built with a robust high-quality steel structure and features a blast-proof steel chamber and autoclave-able 304# stainless steel components, making it resistant to detergents and disinfection liquids. Its smooth operation is ensured by a flexible shaft drive system, driven by a frequency conversion motor controlled by a microprocessor. The centrifuge's performance is displayed and controlled via a user-friendly 7-inch touch screen, offering detailed information on speed, timer, RCF, rotors, program settings, acceleration, deceleration, and error codes.
The large capacity rotor body, equipped with a windshield, reduces rotor resistance and extends the motor's service life. Double-layer silicone seal rings on the door cover and body maintain a tight seal.
In terms of functionality, this floor standing low speed refrigerated centrifuge features a CFC-free compressor with a pre-cooling function and double-cycle refrigeration, ensuring precise temperature control within a range of -20°C to 40°C. It allows for the storage of up to 30 programs, enabling easy access with one-touch saving. Ten-speed acceleration and deceleration curves are available to prevent secondary sedimentation, optimizing the centrifugation process.
Safety is paramount, and the centrifuge complies with international safety regulations (e.g., IEC 61010). It incorporates an electrical lid interlock, preventing the door from opening while the rotor is running and ensuring the machine won't operate if the lid is open or if errors occur. In the event of a power failure, an emergency lid-lock release mechanism is in place. A gas hinge protects against lid drops, and various safety features are integrated to prevent over-speed, over-heating, imbalance, and other issues, guaranteeing the safety of both the operator and the machine.
