Description
The XK-12B/24B blood gel card desktop low-speed centrifuge is a vital tool in blood-related testing. It utilizes micro column gel technology, widely used in blood serology, serum detection, red blood cell washing, and microcolumn gel immunoassays. Equipped with a 12/24 card rotor, this centrifuge meets standard operational requirements for batch processing. Its microcomputer control and automatic imbalance detection technology ensure easy operation and precise results. Ideal for experimental hematology in hospitals and blood banks, this centrifuge is indispensable in crucial tests like Blood Group Identification, Blood Cross-Matching, and Irregular Antibody Screening. When paired with a gel card incubator, it ensures optimal performance throughout the testing process.

Features
The Blood Gel Card Centrifuge utilizes the microcolumn gel immunoreaction principle, primarily for red blood cell agglutination testing or microcolumn gel hemagglutination assays (MGHA). During operation, red blood cells and their corresponding antibodies form clusters within the microcolumn gel tubes. Low-speed centrifugation ensures that the clumps remain at the surface or are suspended within the gel, while unbound red blood cells settle at the base of the tube.
Advantages:
Micro Column Gel Technology offers simplicity, eliminating the need for washing and confirmation tests for negative results, overcoming the complexity and time constraints of traditional Coombs tests. It establishes the incomplete antibody detection theory as the clinical "gold standard". The system can process multiple specimens simultaneously (12/24 cards), enabling efficient testing of numerous clinical samples. Additionally, it ensures accuracy, sensitivity, minimal specimen usage, long-term result storage, easy standardization, and safe operation.
Paternity Testing Method:
The Paternity Testing Method utilizes ABO blood type positive and negative type as well as RhD blood type test cards to detect human ABO and RhD antigens. It employs the column agglutination method (microcolumn gel method), a standardized immunological approach where red blood cell antigens and corresponding antibodies agglutinate within a microcolumn gel medium. This method ensures result accuracy due to its standardization and quantification.
Process Steps:
Blood Sample Collection: Collect blood samples (Note: samples with abnormally high serum protein should be adequately washed before use).
Blood Sample Processing:Centrifuge the anticoagulated whole blood at 900~1000g for 5 minutes. The lower layer contains concentrated packed red blood cells (about 80% concentration). Carefully separate the upper plasma into another test tube for direct use in experiments.
